Incase you aren’t aware, Fat Noodle, located inside the Treasury Casino, is Luke Nguyen’s Asian inspired restaurant, decked out with oriental décor and a menu that features a dynamic mix of Vietnamese flavours with Chinese, Malay and Thai fusions.
As if that doesn’t seem desirable enough, Fat Noodle just recently added a number of tasty new dishes to its already lavish culinary selection.
The newbies to the Fat Noodle menu include vegetable dumplings, prawn and pork rice paper rolls, grilled teriyaki salmon, spicy pork, tempura battered barramundi, crispy chicken and noodles and a fiery vegetarian miso. Of course there’s dessert too – Pandan and coconut cream brulee and ginger and star anise pana cotta.
These salivation-inspiring dishes join Fat Noodle favourites including wok tossed beef sirloin and seafood combination noodle soup, as well as two of Luke’s specialties’ – Vietnamese chicken salad and the signature beef broth of the Fat Pho Noodles.
As always, the team at Fat Noodle use only the most premium ingredients that are sourced locally, including wagyu and Angus beef and sustainability caught fish.
Next time your in the CBD pop in to Fat Noodle to drink tea out of authentic teapots, master your chopstick skills and reward your tastebuds as you perch yourself on the balcony overlooking Queen street mall and the Brisbane River. Enjoy.
