Talulah Label Love + Warehouse sale

Talulah | Brisbane Threads

I know you’ve probably all heard of Talulah and Isla, but I couldn’t resist talking about them some more after they got in touch last week about their upcoming warehouse sale (more on that below!).

I’ve been a fan of Talulah for many years, loving the structure, beautiful patterns and perfect fit of each collection, season after season. My love of the label flourished after the League of Extraordinary Women’s Run The World event in May when Kelli Wharton, founder and creative director, took to the stage to tell her inspirational, entrepreneurial story.

And boy does she have a story to tell! From credit cards, bank loans and the potential of huge financial debt to a spontaneous trip to India to meet manufacturers and suppliers, all in an effort to kickstart her label and realise her dream. Her unrelenting self belief has certainly paid off!

Collection after collection I am wowed, and the Winter 2015 range is no exception. I love all of the ruffles, the mini dresses, the prints and the bold structured pieces. I love the off-the-should look, the draping fabric and the colour palette. I love it all! Especially this dress that I can’t wait to wear through winter with tights and boots or heels and a cute knit.
