After mountains of success and 7 stores throughout New South Wales and Victoria, Bailey Nelson have now set up two stores in Queensland, one in James St and one in Indooroopilly. They will soon to have one more in Brisbane’s main shopping hub, Queen St Mall. Bailey Nelson are becoming wildly famous for their stylish, quality glasses and sunglasses at completely affordable prices.
For their Queensland launch, Bailey Nelson decked out the strip in front of their James Street store with a tropical summer theme. There were large colourful summer umbrellas towering over bright cushions and picnic rugs alongside relaxing poolside deck chairs. Along with the purple and red lighting covering the strip, you were made to feel as if you were sitting on a beach in the Whitsundays, watching the sunset. Not bad for a Thursday night!
The fruity cocktails, Asahi beer and refreshing apple Somersby cider also helped create the exotic holiday feel. Platters of breads and cheese’s with deli meats and antipasto treats from Gerard’s Bistro were laid out for guests to nibble on with their cold drinks. Dj Mumbles was keeping the chilled out vibe flowing with resort mixes throughout the night. It was clear to see everyone was feeling that relaxed beach summer vibe.
This blessed out summertime vibe is the core of the Bailey Nelson brand. You can see it in each and every pair of specs they sell. There’s a wide range of bright, playful frames that would look equally good in the boardroom or the beach.
Interactions with staff have that similar warmth of summer. These are friendly guys and gals who know just which pair of specs will make your face absolutely shine.
My eyes are pretty good but since the launch I’ve been making a serious effort to read small text in the dark as much as I can. After seeing the Bailey Nelson range I can’t just be limited to sunnies!
